The first edition of the Manifest dance-film incubator facilitated a historic coming-together of dance and film students and professionals in independent dance-film projects.
Our method is to develop a short film idea from script to exhibition stage in a hybrid online-offline model over a period of about 6 weeks.
For our first incubator we had renowned film and dance artists/teachers mentoring the dance-film projects.
The incubator received equipment support from SONY India (Chennai) – they provided 2 cameras and 3 lenses for the two films.
